Terms of Service
By using Komegle, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Komegle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Komegle. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Always Free
Komegle is free to use and always will be. We guarantee that we will never charge you to use our site. If we ever introduce monetization to help pay for our servers, it will be done through ads, not by billing you.
User Conduct & Behavior Requirements
By using Komegle, you agree to comply with all conduct requirements and guidelines. You must NOT use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: (1) Your face must be clearly visible on camera at all times during chat sessions - failure to show your face will result in automatic ban. (2) You are strictly prohibited from displaying signs, letters, written papers, text messages, phone numbers, social media handles, or any form of written communication on camera. (3) Spam, advertising, promotional content, or any 'game-style' behaviors (including but not limited to so-called 'Omegle games' or similar activities) will result in immediate and permanent ban. (4) The use of virtual cameras, pre-recorded videos, loops, or any form of simulated video content is strictly forbidden. (5) Harassment, hate speech, discriminatory language, nudity, sexual content, and any form of inappropriate or offensive behavior are absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate ban. Our sophisticated AI moderation systems continuously monitor for violations of these rules. Bans may be temporary or permanent depending on the severity of the violation. Repeated violations will result in increasingly longer ban periods. Remember: Komegle is a platform for genuine human interaction and conversation - help us keep it that way by following these guidelines.
Prohibition of Moderation Evasion & Camera Tampering
Komegle relies on automated AI moderation systems that continuously analyze the live video feed to keep the community safe. Any attempt to evade, bypass, disable, degrade, obstruct, deceive, or otherwise interfere with these moderation systems — or to deliberately prevent them from obtaining a clear, genuine, real-time view of you — is strictly and absolutely prohibited and will result in an immediate and permanent ban, without prior warning. This rule exists because users who hide themselves from moderation are overwhelmingly attempting to conceal nudity, sexual content, or other serious violations. PROHIBITED TECHNIQUES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: (1) physically covering, obstructing, or blocking the camera lens with a finger, hand, tape, sticker, cloth, paper, or any other object; (2) deliberately turning off the lights or operating in near-total darkness so that you are not discernible, while continuing to use the service; (3) pointing the camera at a wall, ceiling, floor, or otherwise away from yourself to avoid showing your face or body; (4) using virtual cameras, OBS, video-injection software, browser extensions, or any tool that feeds a fake, manipulated, pre-rendered, or substituted video stream to the platform in place of your real camera; (5) broadcasting pre-recorded video, looped clips, photographs, displayed screens, deepfakes, avatars, or any non-live or simulated content instead of your genuine, live camera feed; (6) freezing, heavily blurring, pixelating, mirroring, masking, or artificially degrading the video so that the moderation system cannot evaluate the frame; (7) using scripts, automation, modified clients, or any software designed to interfere with how your video is captured, transmitted, or analyzed. Our moderation systems detect these behaviors automatically and in real time. A ban issued for moderation evasion is NOT subject to appeal solely on the basis that no explicit content was ultimately shown — the deliberate act of defeating, obstructing, or deceiving moderation is itself a violation, regardless of what you were or were not displaying. If your camera is genuinely off, covered, or pointed away because you do not wish to appear on video, you must simply disconnect rather than remaining connected in a chat; staying in a session while denying the moderation system a usable, real-time view of you is treated as deliberate evasion and will be penalized accordingly.
Prohibition of VPNs, Proxies, and Tor
The use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), proxy servers of any type (including but not limited to HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS5, residential proxies, and data center proxies), The Onion Router (Tor) network, or any other traffic anonymization, obfuscation, or IP masking technology is strictly and absolutely prohibited on Komegle. This policy exists to protect the integrity, safety, and accountability of our community. Anonymizing tools are frequently exploited by bad actors to evade bans, bypass geographic restrictions, conduct harassment campaigns, distribute spam, and engage in other forms of abuse that harm our users and undermine the platform. By prohibiting these tools, we maintain a safer, more trustworthy environment for all participants. Any user detected connecting through a VPN, proxy server, Tor exit node, or similar anonymization infrastructure will be subject to an immediate and permanent ban, without prior warning. Our automated detection systems identify such connections in real time, and enforcement is applied instantly upon detection. Bans issued for this reason are not subject to appeal solely on the basis that the detection occurred. This prohibition applies without exception to: (1) any commercial or free VPN service; (2) proxy servers of any protocol or type; (3) the Tor (The Onion Router) network and all onion-routing services; (4) browser extensions, plugins, or applications that route traffic through third-party servers to mask the user's real IP address; (5) cloud-based relay services, reverse proxies, or any infrastructure designed to conceal the user's true origin. If you are currently using any of these tools, you must disable them entirely before attempting to connect to Komegle. Komegle reserves the right to share connection metadata — including IP addresses, timestamps, and VPN or proxy provider information — with law enforcement or relevant authorities when required by law or when illegal activity is suspected.
